Abstract

The project aims to disseminate the cientific results that have been carried out at the Centre of Ocean and Naval Engineering (CNAVAL) of the Institute of Technological Researches of São Paulo (IPT) on behalf of its Advisory board of Press. The purpose of the project is to create awareness of the modernization process that the IPT hydrodynamic's laboratory is currentelly showing. Which increases the capacity to implement new facilities improving technical efficiency and qualification in research and development (R&D) as well as significant contribution to the society and the Brazilian Naval industry. The publication will intend to be written in an non specialise language in order to reach a broad audience and make cientific knowledge in naval engineering accessable to the general public. The material will be available via IPT's website (www.ipt.br) and the electronic magazine produced by Labjor- Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism: ComCiência (www.comciencia.br) and Ciência & Cultura- Temas e Tendências (electronic version available in Scielo).
