Abstract

The numerical simulation of high-speed turbulent compressible flows require special numerical techniques capable of calculating discrete spatial derivatives that treat precisely shock waves and small-scale vortices, especially in near-boundary regions. We will develop high-order finite difference numerical methods for near-boundary points, for structured grids, and validate it with implementation of the 1D Euler equations.
