Abstract

One of the main research project at the Ionic Crystal Laboratory consists of investigation of physical properties (color centers, thermoluminescence, electron paramagnetic ressonance, anisotropic effects) of natural Brazilian silicate minerals. Within this scope in the present project such properties will be investigated in a natural mineral called Apophylite - gamma- rays irradiation and high temperature annealing effects are particularly focused.
