Abstract

The research project Pedagogy and Staging: transmission processes in the poetics of Anatoli Vassil'ev aims to identify, in the theatrical practice proposed by the Russian director Anatoli Vassil'ev, the articulation between the technical-poetic procedures and the process of formulation and composition of the theatrical language. It will relate the documental research to the monitoring of practical workshops in research institutions and theater training programs in Italy and Russia, in order to delineate premisses that characterize the trajectory and the mechanisms of transmission of this director, as well as of others who also elected the fundamentals of the actor's craft as the core of their artistic work. Thus, it intends to contribute to the systematization of the training of the theater artist in Brasil - in the undergraduate course - and to the development of researches in this area of confluence - in graduate programs - in the Performing Arts Department of ECA/USP (University of São Paulo) .
