Abstract Are Radical Behaviorism theories for the I concept and subjectivity "enough" to give a good comprehension about this phenomena? Are there advances being proposed? In which direction the present theories about subjectivity are being developed? This project intends to develop those questions from a review of the literary production of José Antônio Damasio Abib, Carlos Eduardo Lopes and Emmanuel Zaguri Tourinho. These authors have produced important works about this theme in the Radical Behaviorism theorical field. About this review, it will be formulated a schedule with the subjectivity phenomena comprehension proposed by B. F. Skinner, as well as the critics and advances constructed by these Brazilian authors. Furthermore, as the language role is recognized as fundamental in all the proposals presented, a brief analysis of the Verbal Behavior Theory, as well as the Relational Frame Theory, will be developed in order to explore the possibilities and contributions that these theories can bring to the I concept and subjectivity phenomena comprehension.
