Abstract

The enhancement of psychological assessment instruments is part of international and national guidelines for the improvement of professional practices in this area. With this goal, given the relevance of projective methods of psychological assessment in the understanding of personality, this study aims to develop relevant standards of The Pfister Colored Pyramid Test with a sample of adolescents. Thus, the aim is also to contribute to scientific knowledge about the characteristics of psychological functioning, especially social-affective in this stage of human development. For this, will be evaluated 180 adolescents aged 12 to 14 years old, of both sexes, from public and private schools in Ribeirão Preto (SP), with a history of typical development indicators, ie, not patients. Vounteers to the study will be duly informed about the research and their parents/guardians, but will be part of the study only those who formally approved by signature of a term of informed consent for this research. The data will be examined in terms of descriptive statistics on the Pfisters Test technical variables and will be examined by analyzing inferential statistics, any effects of text, school origin and age on the results. These data are then compared with available standards on the Pfister manual,designed with adults, in order to investigate possible specifity of the teenage production on this personality assessment projective technique.
