Abstract

This research project will be developed from the longitudinal follow of the process of literacy acquisition of children/young people diagnosed with Dyslexia in the Centro de Convivência de Linguagens (CCazinho), located in the Institute of Language Studies at UNICAMP. It will present the first reflections that emerged, in the first moment, from the analysis of written data produced by the subjects and from the observation of the implications that the diagnosis brings into their entrance in the world of letters. This research will be done from the theoretical and methodological approach of Neurolinguistica Discursiva. There are two main research objectives: (i) study the process of literacy acquisition of subjects who received a diagnosis of dyslexia, discussing whether that the marks that show the data writing are symptoms of a (presumed) pathology, as the literature on Dyslexia describes, or whether they are natural hypothesis of the process of literacy acquisition, (ii) investigate the reasons for the diagnoses to be valued by society, school and family, as well as how they have hindered the process of literacy acquisition children/young people.
