Because they are not dependent on patient cooperation for its correct use, the intraoral distalization, currently, has been widely used for the treatment of Class II malocclusion without extraction. This type of device promotes distalization of upper molars by converting the Class II molar relationship in a Class I molar relationship, and that distal movement of molars is almost always associated with loss of anchor premolars and buccal tipping of upper incisors. Aiming to evaluate, by means of digital models and from the lateral radiograph, the dental and skeletal changes in young patients with Class II malocclusion, and verify that the modifications of the device associated with First Class mini-implants promotes a smaller loss of anchorage, will be selected 30 patients Class II from postgraduate FOB-USP, which will then be divided into: G1 - First Class using the device without mini-implants, and G2 - First Class using a device with mini-implants, and will be submitted to molding of the upper arch and lower arch pre- and post-distalization and lateral radiograph in pre-and post-distalization to analyze the possible dental and skeletal changes resulting from the usage Modified First Class, with or without the use of mini-implant.
