Abstract This paper presents a study proposal concerning the area of five archaeological sites evidenced in the surroundings of Cardoso City, situated in the drainage basin of Turvo/Grande Rivers. This work aims to resort to landscape archaeology in order to identify and analyse traces left in it by indigenous people, as well as interpret the changes that happened where this population lived, enabling, somehow, to work out what the relation between those populations and the nature was like. | |
