Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Remote Sensing use as a support of Geography teaching, in the sixth year of elementary school and the first series of high school, in state education network of Ourinhos - SP. For this, will be evaluated the degree of knowledge and use of Remote Sensing with teachers and students. This analysis will be done through questionnaires. The data collected will be analyzed, processed, and subsequently used in the preparation of reports and articles. It will be intended to trace parallels between the training of teachers, school infrastructure, experience, and student interest in Remote Sensing, verifying the adequacy of the proposed curriculum, which includes this technology in basic education. The information obtained by this project will also aim to assist in knowledge dissemination relating to remote sensing, and as this database and methodology for teaching, highlighting its importance in learning new technologies and scientific and technological development.(AU)
