Abstract

The aim of this Project is to study the catalytic activity of some new chiral pyridium salts. In preliminar experiments, performed using one of these salts in the alkylation reaction of a glycine cetimine, the induction of asymmetry was low (30% of enantiomeric excess), but can be probably improved by modifying experimental conditions. Further studies will refer to the influence of the molecular structure on the catalytic activity of the new chiral salts.(AU)
