Abstract
The objective of this research project is to study the Dynamic Kinetic Resolution methodology for the synthesis of asymmetric amines. It is known that amines skeleton is present in a large number of compounds with biological activity. They acts specially in central nervous system and can act as antidepressive drugs. The main work front is the development of the non-enzymatic Dynamic Kinetic Resolution of primary amines using chiral sulfonamides as acylating agent and inducer of chirality in the stage of acylation, combined with the use of palladium supported catalysts supported on alkaline earth metal salts in the stage of racemization. From the proposed studies we intend to extend the proposal for a serie of functionalized substrates, as aminoindanes, aminochromanes, aminoacids and derivatives for application in total synthesis of substances with biological activity.Another work front proposed is the development of new metal catalysts of palladium, nickel and bimetallics (containing Pd and Ni) for racemization of chiral amines, which can be used both in non-enzymatic and enzymatic Dynamic Kinetic Resolution of aromatic or aliphatic amines.
