Abstract

Amid the climate changes, the attention given to the environment is emerging and gaining importance. The society has come to realize that every human action has its costs and environmental organizations began to demand more responsible behavior. The companies responded to this demand by adopting environmental practices, both in the sense of regulation, and differentiation and competitive advantage. This project aims to identify the degree of environmental management in established companies in the electronics sector State of Sao Paulo, ranking them among the evolutionary stages in accordance with the practices pro adopted in environmental management. This will be used as a research method to study case of two companies. The contribution of this study is the aggregation of data empirical evolutionary stages of environmental management in the State of São Paulo. (AU)
