Abstract

Graves 'ophthalmopathy (GO) constitutes one of the most striking manifestations of Graves' disease. Given the existence of dark spots in the genesis and treatment of OG, this project will evaluate the expression of PPAR-gamma receptor, ER, AR, GR, TR, before and after treatment with glucocorticoids in orbital fibroblasts of patients with OG. For this, the fibroblasts, in pre-adipocytes taken from patients with GO, will be placed in culture and subsequently subjected to the method of adipocyte differentiation and treatment with glucocorticoids, with molecular analysis of gene expression of these receptors.(AU)
