Abstract

The project aims to reflect the dynamics of production of the built environment of the city of Franca, seeking to understand the specific impact of urbanization and its growing influence of the municipal planning process institutionalized since the 1960 local spatial configuration, seeking to translate the complexity of this context for a set of indicators that help and guide the formulation of public policies that can ensure the sustainability of local urban development process, especially those related to quality of urban life, such as the amount of green areas and public recreation available for community use and access distances to public transport services, among others.
