Abstract

This academic searching has the objective to analyzing the construction of ideas to the circulation about harmonious development and the urbanism by works to Louis-Joseph Lebret about the urban question and the regional development in the Brazil, during years to 1940 - 1960. From works to Lebret and SAGMACS - Society of Graphic Analyses and Mechanographical applied to Social Environment, about the urban planning and the studies to economic and regional development, we propose study and unveil the guide lines and the methodology employed by Lebret and your group, consisting in realization of searching about the life conditions of persons in the cities, in the areas to habitation, transport, urban services, accessing to the culture and work, methods that resonated in to works of urban planning, posterior to end the activities of group, in the years 1960. In this search, we propose elucidate and discuss the urbanism of Lebret and of SAGMACS. For this, we propose the reconstitute to matrix of urban ideas of Lebret, your concepts, methods of work and your filiation to modern urbanism. This form, we aim answer: we can assign the formation of one method work by urban planning, founded for Lebret, utilizing and improved by your group in the SAGMACS, in the tentative of assign about existence, or no, to one lebret urbanism.
