Abstract

This project's purpose is to analyze the temperature and relative humidity of air in the city of Espírito Santo do Pinhal, in order to focus on the influence of urban changes on the local climate. It is also intended to identify possible influences, of both the construction of urban and rural environments, in a natural micro-climate (forests). Mini weather stations will be installed in six sectors, with different characteristics, in the municipality to collect data for further analysis. In the end, we aim that this work will serve as a theoretical subsidy for future studies of urban climate in small towns or even as support in remediations of the hostile urban climates of large cities.(AU)
