Abstract

The elastic scattering of 16O+27Al at 280 MeV should be measured with the MAGNEX spectrometer at LNS/INFN (Catania, Italy) in order to verify and characterize the role of couplings in the formation of a nuclear rainbow pattern according to predictions based in our model for the reaction mechanism.
