Abstract

The main objective of this project is the construction of 4-hyperbolic manifolds, including compact complex hyperbolic manifolds. Nowadays, such a construction constitutes a fundamental area of geometry to which we have already given a few significant contributions (see item 2 of the project). The project includes an intense scientific collaboration with Misha Verbitsky. By participating in high standard events, we hope to widely disseminate the already obtained results. We strongly believe that the project will naturally lead to the development of new long-term scientific collaborations in the rich mathematical environment of the "Laboratory of algebraic geometry and its applications."
