Abstract

The study is characterized by a descriptive analysis research approach, with empirical and quantitative, in order to investigate the importance of accounting in the professional training of law in the U.S. The research will be developed in the College of Law, University of Illinois, which is the observed unit. The proposal is to build a database with which to make inferences about the formation of egress and their subsequent position in the market in that country. The purpose is to raise evidence to reinforce the discussion of the importance of interdisciplinary between accounting and law, for professional training in accounting in Brazil. The methodology is the use of statistical tool compatible with the analysis to be done after construction of the database. As results, the research could open the option of inter-relationship between accounting and law in greater depth than is already done now at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. (AU)
