Abstract It is known that learning is facilitated when there is the support of several resources that use auditory and visual skills, for example. Based on the proposal of Distance Education, CD-ROMs of The Virtual Man Project are educational materials that are intended to help the learning process of anatomy, physiology, morphology, and various diseases by health professionals, as well as the general population. The CD-ROM: "Voice: speech therapy and medicine," Volume 1 was developed and evaluated for effectiveness as educational material specifically in relation to speech articulation. This instrument has been used as face to face teaching resource materials and distance education, as well as therapeutic strategy in clinical practice in cases of dysphonia and speech disorders; there is also the possibility of investing in learning a second language. Thus, we understand the importance of adapting and translating the CD-ROM "Voice: speech therapy and medicine," Volume 1 of The Virtual Man Project, to American English language. | |
