Abstract

This project aims to evaluate the visibility, location, length and possible anatomical variations of the superior alveolar canals (CAS), anterior, middle and posterior in the region of maxilla by Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). The study group consists of 200 examinations of the maxilla of adult patients conducted by CBCT (i-CAT equipment) removed from the image files of the Department of Stomatology, School of Dentistry of Bauru. The analysis will be performed, after previous calibration of the researcher, through the coronal and sagittal reconstructions reviewing the CAS bilaterally from the infraorbital foramen to the midline of the jaw.
