Several studies have verified the relationship among Spodoptera frugiperda, as well as Alabama argillacea, and potential biological control agents, as these species are important pests in several crops. Parasitoid wasps have been studied for this purpose, as well as predators from different orders. The earwig (Euborellia annulipes) presents great potential to control S. frugiperda, as well as insects of order Pentatomidae (Hemiptera). The parasitoid wasp Campoletis flavicincta is also considered a potential control agent of S. frugiperda in the field. The objective of this project is to study the ecological relationship among the cited species, by using the theory of statistical modeling, in order to try and illustrate what may, possibly, occur in the field, when one or more natural enemies are released.
