Abstract

The aim of this research projet is to study José Scaramelli educational works in order to apprehend them through the eyes of the progressive educational movement in Brazil. The period of this study is from 1914 to 1931. This period was chosen because the author produced part of his educational writing during this period trying to spread progressive education ideas. To analyse his works it was chosen two categories Methodologie and Didatics. The aim is to undertand how his ideas of methodology and didatics were constructed inside the movement.
