Abstract

The process of democratization of public school allowed a big expansion in opportunities for access, but brings with it the challenge of ensuring qualitative able to meet the needs of a new audience. In this sense, the adoption of a system of education textbooks for municipal spheres, may represent a new element to the search for quality public school in the current context. Thus, this research project aims to understand what implications a handout system brings to teaching public school in the municipality of Alvares Machado-SP, from the perspective of teachers in the early years of elementary school. The methodology will seek the theme of the literature review, data collection in the municipality for understanding the political landscape and the local educational interviews with managers of the municipal education and teachers in the early years of the municipality for the purpose of understand the implications of using the material handouts. For the analysis of the data using content analysis.
