Abstract This study focus the debate of the media caught scandals that had reached the end of the first Lula administration and have become more pronounced during the 2006 elections. Therefore, I present a literature review and survey of the prosopographical main actors, that have been highlighted in the context of the disputes: on one hand, journalists located in the "printed press mainstream "- and disseminators of other scandals, journalists favorable to Lula that spread their ideas through blogs, sites considered to be free speech. This universe of blogs, most notably known as the "blogosphere" seems to reveal itself as having a decisive role in systematic manifestations that arise in the period, and lead to a reversal on the decision of the election. The product of these analysis provide a substrate for further discussion about cultural disputes that led the political field, in a recent moment of the brazilian social life, the rise of new ways of thinking democracy and economy. | |
