Abstract

This research project proposes the online world building process analysis as spaces of transmediatic communication. The objective's goal presupposes the following operational objectives: 1) to make a data report of the distinct media used within the television program. 2) To study and classify new production conditions that congregate user interaction at the online community. 3) To investigate new subjectivity forms as a complex system. 4) To identify the different content validation ways, distributed by the transmediatic narrative in distinct media (TV and mobile device episodes, books, audiovisual products on the internet, promotional material and games) This project has both qualitative and quantitative nature, and proposes to make a study about the Lost TV-Show centered online community entitled 'DarkUfo'. It looks for relations between the world building construction and the posts made in the community. Using netnographic methodology, it looks for a systematization of the processes that involve users and the interactive ambient proportionated by the community.
