Abstract

This study aims to check for improvement in procedures for castration in coatis (Nasua Nasua) with the addition of epidural anesthesia and also compare the differences between the association of ketamine with xylazine and ketamine chemical restraint with dexmedetomidine in this species. Fifteen animals will be divided into three groups and anesthetized according to the protocol specified for each group.(AU)
