Abstract

Metallophthalocyanines (MPCs) are macrocyclic systems with 18-p electrons that have unique physical and chemical properties, resulting in a range of applications such as catalysis, photocatalysis, photodynamic therapy (PDT), nonlinear optics and semiconductor materials. These applications can be intensified by immobilizing metallophthalocyanines in inorganic matrices, allowing a better dispersion of these macromolecules. Besides this advantage, the immobilization attributes the increase in stability and thermal and chemical resistance.Motivated by the potential applications of MPCs and the properties of kaolinite and its feasibility of functionalization, the aims of this work is to study metallophthalocyanines and / or precursors of some phthalocyanines (ftalonitrilos) immobilization in kaolinite, and then form metallophthalocyaninesThe materials will be characterized by X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy in ultraviolet visible (UV-Vis) and infrared (IR), thermal analysis (TG / DTG, DTA and DSC), elemental analysis (C, N and H), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and transmission electronic microscopy (TEM)
