Abstract

Sixteen horses of BH breed, males and females, adults with different levels of fitness will be divided into two groups, a lower fitness (CI, n = 8) and another superior (CS, n = 8). Blood samples will be obtained before and immediately after an incremental test. The test will be conducted in a sand track and the incremental steps will be performed by means of increasing heights through simple obstacles. Among the indicators will determine the proteomic expression of lactate transporters and H + ions, the monocarboxilatos, specifically the isoform MCT1 to be related to the degree of fitness. That said, the purpose of this project is to determine expression of the transporter monocarboxilato hematic after a physical fitness test specifically for classical riding horses, with two levels of fitness.
