Abstract

The general purpose of the project is to assess the effect of homogenization (pressure and number of cycles) on the properties of Cellulose Nanocrystals (CNC), in order to obtain CNC with appropriate properties (high aspect ratio and a good dispersion) to use as reinforcement material in a polymer matrix, using viable conditions to the high-scale production.(AU)
