Abstract

Studying the effects of different catecholamines on fluid replacement of large volumes of physiological solutions on vascular retention, urine output, and HRV in animals subjected to hemorrhage. Objective: is to check the effects of different catecholamines on the volume expansion and the autonomic nervous system in rabbits submitted to hemorrhage. Check intravascular crystalloid retention associated with catecholamine ± and ² agonists in rabbits submitted to hemorrhage. Studying the behavior of the Heart Rate Variability by spectral analysis during volume replacement with crystalloids associated with catecholamine ± and ² agonists. Material and methods: the study will be used 24 rabbits, 12 males, race of Botucatu genetic group, with weights ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 kg provided by the Central Animal Facility of UNESP-Campus de Botucatu (SP). The study protocol was previously submitted to and approved by the Ethics Committee on Animal Experimentation of the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho".(AU)
