Abstract

Whereas adornments have always been appreciated by man and currently, the need to include the concepts of ecology in all areas is explicit, the ecological design becomes a great ally for professionals working in the manufacture of adornments, including jewelers. Aiming at the reduction and preservation of precious metals and the use of alternative materials, the ecodesign of adornment is even more valuable and attractive, as it promotes sustainable consumption. Based on these concepts, this work aims to research the professionals that use sustainable ideas for making your accessories, providing the basis for the research of many alternative materials.(AU)
