Abstract

This post-graduate research aims to address new ways of contemporary theater through the possibilities of translating the texts The Tempest and A Midsummer Night Dreams, by William Shakespeare, to a theater of images, in their concepts of little or no use the spoken word as well as the deconstruction of a linear drama. For this we use the transformation of the archetypes found in the original texts in pictorial symbols corresponding to contemporary society.
