Abstract

In many homes, the masonry Ourinhos/SP distortions are identified on the inner walls and/or external. These deformations do not have a preferred location and can develop in both the ceiling and the bottom walls of the houses. The appearance of bubbles is that, at a later stage, have a total displacement of the grout. These deformations result in financial loss to residents, given the extensive rehabilitation of the affected area. The hypothesis is that initially raised the case of organic matter in the sand, predominantly coming from the Paranapanema River, which favors the proliferation of fungi and/or bacteria. However, it is necessary to prove this hypothesis for future intervention. Thus, this project aims to identify possible causes and consequences of the deformation of the walls of houses and neighborhoods in Sa Village Garden Bright, whose occupation is the decades of 1990 and 1930/40 respectively. For this purpose, a questionnaire will be applied in all the houses of those districts, aiming to size and characterize the problem and its consequences. A questionnaire will be in the main building material stores and the port of sand in the region to identify the origin and characteristics of the sand used in the construction of Ourinhos/SP. There will be a sample of the material both in port and in stores of construction materials. The same will be submitted to the quantitative analysis of organic matter and fecal coliform bacteria, causing possible deformations.(AU)
