Abstract

The project is part of a larger project (FAPESP 2009/17650-2), where the supervisor participates in the technical team. The goal is to study a specific route for the treatment of fresh manure from advanced oxidation processes (AOP) with artificial UV light as a function of the parameters, temperature, pH, and reagent concentrations. For this, the degradation process of the slurry will be accompanied by measures of COT and the data collected will be analyzed from an empirical stochastic model proposed in (Smith et al, 2011). Because it is a very common effluent and difficult to treat due to its biological composition, research can point to significant results in relation to pre-treat the effluent to allow a biological treatment for further study or even your water disposal in accordance with current environmental legislation.
