Abstract

This project aims the study of theoretical and computational aspects of optimization of loading and transport positions by ships, especially those faced by the company Vale SA. More specifically, we intend to develop new models and optimization methods for these problems in an integrated manner, taking into account the costs of loading and transport, especially those involving bulk carriers and container ships, aiming to provide an optimal solution (mono-objective approach) or a set of efficient solutions (multiobjective approach.
