Abstract

The Sexual Education in schools is a recommendation of the Brazilian National Curriculum Parameters, however there are schools that do not perform projects for intervention in this area. Moreover, in some situations, when there are proposals, the focus is on prevention and biological aspect and not the discussion about the historical, cultural and social aspects of sexuality. The general purpose of this descriptive - qualitative research is to investigate whether and how are being made projects of intervention in public schools sex education in elementary schools in the city of Bauru. Participants will be 10 people, including principals, teacher trainers and teachers working in elementary schools. The data collection will be held of a semi-structured interview that will be recorded and transcribed fully for content analysis. It is expected that the results will help to raise the possible difficulties of implementation of intervention programs on sexuality in the schools of the city, in order to develop intervention strategies more effective.(AU)
