Abstract

Sexuality has been the subject of studies and research in various areas of knowledge: Psychology, Biology, Medicine, Economics, Sociology, History, and especially education. After the publication of the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN) in 1997, there was an expansion of sexual education of attempts to enter the school, linked to development projects and classes with pre-established content, however, without further consolidate a training policy teaching that subsidize and orientate the activities at school. We found an intensification of preparing teaching materials and investigative training of teachers, especially making use of digital technologies. While the educational institution does not offer concrete possibilities of legitimation of sexual rights, diversity, whether through speeches, texts or images, it will not be fulfilling, in a comprehensive manner, its function of educating citizens to the full. On the one hand we have references to the need for knowledge and the construction of sexual knowledge, on the other we miss a literature on the production of knowledge surrounding the intervention proposals for education work in Sexual. Thus, the objective is to carry out a documentary survey and its analysis of the resulting knowledge production intervention proposals in sex education in Brazil, with the intention to go beyond the manifest content of these documents, taking an interest in the origin of the proposal, prospects, intervention and its methodological theoretical framework. We believe this study will give greater visibility to sex education considering its organizing potential and the possibility of analysis and description of practices that provide theoretical and methodological subsidies for teacher training.
