Abstract

Reading fluency: a comparative study between children who stutter and children who no stutterAbstract:Purpose: to characterize the reading fluency of children who stutter (CWS) and children who no stutter (CWNS) regarding of typology of disfluencies and frequency of ruptures, as well as the flow of syllables and words per minute. Methods: 40 children with ages between 8.0 and 11.11 years, divided in two groups: CWS (children who stutter) composed by 20 children who stutter, and; CWNS (children who no stutter) composed by 20 children who no stutter. The reading fluency assessment will be used .The data in this study will be analyzed by statistical method.
