Abstract

The paper aims to contribute to the environmental planning of the high basin from Ribeirão do Areia Dourada through the development of the Inventory and Environmental Diagnosis of the sector. It is considered that this sector of the basin reflects the environmental issues of the region of Maraba Paulista (SP) and, therefore, the development of this research can contribute to solving these problems, providing an example of methodological adaptation aiming an environmental planning. This project will have the Landscape Geoecology as its theoretical orientation, in order to map the physical characteristics, land use and with that, identify the environmental units, conflicts of land use and contribute to a physical-territorial planning and replanning proposal linked to the ecological potential of the study area.
