Abstract

The sugarcane sector has accelerated the process of acquiring new technologies in all work processes, therefore, the skills and competencies required for the development of tasks are thoroughly redesigned. The operationalization of these new facilities operates as information on the skills and competencies needed and developed by the company. The objectives are aimed at identifying strategies for attracting and selecting manpower and the way that companies supply the gaps in knowledge, skills, and competencies. To achieve the objectives presented will use qualitative and quantitative research and literature reviews, questionnaires directed to sugarcane organizations, and interviews with executives responsible for human resources and technology acquisition.
