Abstract

On the international scene, there is a consensus that the order should always be sought by all States as a fundamental condition of development of the nations. In this sense, the methods of peaceful conflict resolution are a relevant alternative in order to keep the peace situation. In this way, Brazil is a State that seeks the peaceful solutions. It has historically made use of these means to resolve disputes as friendly as possible, and the arbitration, object of this research, was much used by Brazil. Thus, this project aims to examine, in arbitration documents, the position of Brazil during the process to understand, substantially, the clauses of the Constitution which set out the principles of peace in the conduct of Brazil in its international relations.(AU)
