Abstract

This Project is characterized as a case study and aims to research the affective dimension in the relationship between advisor and advisee, having the subject experienced scientific research orientation as the advisee. The theoretical bases are in the area of Psychology, especially in Wallon and Vygotsky. The data collection procedure adopted will be interviewing applicants. Analysis and discussion of data will occur based on the theoretical approach taken. The relevance of the study stands in the dearth of research on the subject and also in the importance of the role of affectivity. It is expected that the results of the study may contribute to a clearer understanding of the relationships between advisor and advisee and its possible consequences, besides allowing discussions to promote scientific development.
