Abstract

This research project deals with the Colombian compulsory dislocation at the north border of Brazil analyzing the forced exodus from a theoretical and ethnographic perspective. The frontier that Colombia has with Brazil is seen as a point of protection to Colombians who wants to escape from the warmed conflict between the Colombian State and the irregular warmed groups. This project is structured in two parts: the first one studies the causes and origins of the Colombian warmed conflict. The second one studies the consequences of this dislocation to the Colombians who leave their home and lands to establish themselves in some Amazonas' areas, analyzing their conditions of vulnerability as they cross these geopolitical and symbolic frontiers, finding themselves in a difficult situation of "regularity or irregularity" afterwards before the Brazilian State.
