Abstract This research proposes to study Butoh, original from Japan, and Ausdruckstanz, which emerged in Germany, two types of dance that have the expressiveness of the theater in their proposals. Appeared in near historical periods and continued on their own path marking the world stage after the Second World War and echoing in contemporary dance today. The research intends to open a dialogue between the choreographic composition "Watashi No Okasan" (My Mother) by Kazuo Ohno (1906 - 2010), one of the creators of Butoh, with the choreographic composition "Witch Dance" performed by Mary Wigman (1886 - 1973), who helped create the foundations of Ausdruckstanz (Dance of Expression). This study has three phases: The first is to do the historical survey of the periods in question, and the second moment is the bibliography and videography related to these two forms of dance, protagonist by Ohno and Wigman. And the third point would be the development of a Scenic Choreographic Project applying theoretical references studied in the research.(AU) | |
