Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the interaction between alginate/ type IV plaster from different manufacturers, through the average roughness and dimensional change, after disinfection with Hypochlorite 1%. According to the research design, two independent variables are studied: interaction alginate/plaster (trademarks), and disinfection of the impression (with or without). Two dependent variables are going to be evaluated in this research: dimensional change and surface roughness. After testing for normality a comparison test of analysis of variance of two criteria for the significance level of 5% (two-way ANOVA) will be applied and if they differ statistically the Tukey test (5%) will be used.(AU)
