Abstract

In this project we plan to investigate the formation, planetary mass and orbit and how these correlate with the physical properties of the proto-planetary disk. The computational analysisis performed with the code FARGO, a hydrodynamic simulation. The goal is to compare the results with the planetary parameters already available from the CoRoT and the Kepler missions. A critical study of the properties of exoplanets already discovered will be carried out taking into account the processes of migration, braking, and stability of the orbits.
