Abstract

In this research it is proposed to develop a digital simulator in real time that allows the simulation of feeders of distribution of electric energy (low and medium voltage levels), considering its typical physical and operational aspects (source, lines of distribution, transformers, linear and non-linear loads, devices of regulation and compensation), using structures with description of the hardware in software through FPGAs devices.The simulator will be developed using the language of description of the hardware VHDL-AMS, allowing fast response and exactness in the processing, making possible the interaction with peripheral systems of control and consisting in HIL (Hardware in the Loop) simulation platform.Considering it simulation platform proposal in re-configurable environment, the future insertion of models of distributed generators in environment of micro-grids becomes possible, as well as, devices of protection and control, in a future scenario of smart electrical distribution grids (Smart-Grids).
