Abstract

This PhD project has as goal to analyze the space of representation of interests of the entrepreneurs' class presented after the 1987-88 constitutional process of the spheres of government, specifically the executive and legislative branches. For this, assuming the assumption that the constitutional process was an inflexion moment in the environment to represent the entrepreneurs' class in the country's policy. According to the conclusion of the master degree research, the period of the Constituent Assembly was marked by questioning the validity of the corporatist system, the proliferation of associations and a non-effective representation by Federation of Industries of São Paulo (Fiesp) in the insertion of the interests of the class. However, the literature does not advance the mapping of the responsible actors for this representation at various levels of activity, previously categorized them as: 1) formal representation, and state "intragovernmental", which can be directly and indirectly related to the maintenance of representation of federations and confederations in the spheres of government, 2) formal representation, private and "intergovernmental", referring to the numerous organizations and industry representative, 3) informal representation and "intragovernmental" that can be related to entrepreneurs who occupy ministerial posts. The new space of representation can be characterized preliminarily as hybrid and "transgovernamental." The methodology sources will be several, such as a wide bibliography, databases, official documents from associations, newspapers and interviews. (AU)
